Pastor Emmanuel George is the founder and Senior Pastor of Dunamis Christian Centre, a multicultural, Charismatic, Pentecostal church in Lower Hutt Wellington.

He has committed his life to serving and helping every person, regardless of background and economic status, to achieve their fullest potential in God. He comes from a city called Chennai in India. Obeying the call and direction of God, he flew to New Zealand with a question why God had asked him to go to this land?, with a one way ticket and was very surprised to see that this far land looked exactly the way he saw in a vision (thick furred sheep, black and white patched cattle) in his prayer time in India. Seeing the fragmented society, high rate of abortion, and dysfunctional families. His question why? to God was answered. After 7 long years of waiting, training and serving under different men of God in New Zealand, on 14th of July 2002 again under the clear direction from God, he stepped out in faith and planted Dunamis Christian Centre. |
